Hermie Haven is an Australian Land Hermit Crab rescue based in Thomastown Victoria, dedicated to the rescuing, rehabilitation and rehoming of hermies. We strive to provide owners and soon-to-be owners with the knowledge and resources to offer their hermit crabs with an environment in which they can thrive instead of merely surviving. Ultimately we are working toward a future in which pet hermies are appropriately cared for and wild hermit crabs stay in the wild 💕
Our Mission
Hermie Haven's mission is to reduce the incidence of hermit crab neglect in the pet community through education and our rescue, rehab and rehoming services.
Ultimately, this will work toward a future in which captive-bred hermit crabs are well cared for and wild hermit crabs remain in the wild.
